In 2020, I graduated from Cardiff University with a 1st class honours in Environmental Geography and began working for Thames Water during lockdown, involving long hours glued to the computer screen. I couldn’t settle for this lifestyle! So I set out towards a more creative, healthy and balanced work life. I found gardening and with it the possibility of working closely with the beauty and wisdom in nature, which has interested me from an early age. My understanding of nature leads me to take real care in my work to form garden spaces which my customers love. This part has been very important to me all along; that I form happy and harmonious customer relations. Going the extra mile to make sure the job is high quality and to my customer’s personal wishes has been my endeavour over the past 4 years of my gardening, landscaping business. This often takes hard graft which I don’t shy away from because after all it's a constructive way of building physical fitness!

A depth and breadth of plant and landscaping knowledge is also necessary. I have developed this through a diverse range of work experience from Cotswold cottage gardens, to coastal hotels or large estates and everything in-between. My personal favourite is the mid-sized garden, spacious enough for drama but small enough to learn your plants well. I've also supplemented my learning with short gardening courses and of course, lots of extra reading. Outside of work I take interest in lots of different activities like surfing, singing, hiking, bread making, meditation, philosophy and much more.
